I went for a nice walk with friends around Castleton in the Peak District. During the walk I saw this very isolated house and thought the scene looked like a painting.
Just a nice calm picture of some people down by the riverside. Most of the picture posted from the Monsal trail are of the bridge. This picture reverses this and takes a picture from the bridge.
“the realisation that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own”.
I went to Bakewell for a much needed day off, I decided to challenge myself by only using my 22mm lens. When I finished the day, I didn't feel like I really took any good shots. Then I saw this one, it's quite nice to look at first glance, but it is also a bit deeper. I enjoy zooming into this photo (you might need to download the full resolution version) and having a glimpse into the lives of the different people. E.g., the man on his phone, the man fishing and the cute doggy in the background playing in the water.
A picture taken on my walk home after getting vaccinated. I like how the picture looks like it's from some kind of fantasy world. In reality it's a little forest next to a smelly recycling centre!
It's not really in the wind! I had my friend blow it whilst I took many photos. It was fun experimenting with different planned scenes.
A picture of a bee I took whilst walking around Sheffield. I like this photo as both the detail in the plant and the bee is really clear!
I like how the pigeon is frozen with the fast shutter. And it's funny that it looks like a penguin.
